| Position Summary |
Assist Head Men’s Tennis Coach with administrative duties and manage tennis office. Ensures compliance with NCAA, SEC and institutional rules and regulations pertaining to Tennis.

- Ability to read and write correspondence and to communicate proficiently with individuals within and outside the University by telephone and email.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to interact with individuals at all levels.

- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but escalates to high during practice and athletic competitions.

- Assist with the administrative operation of the Men’s Tennis program to include, but not limited to: organizing and maintaining efficient office operations supporting the head coach and assistant coaches.
- Assist head coach with scheduling, maintaining calendars, preparing and distributing yearly contracts for home matches. Work with hotel representatives, provide information regarding visiting schools and their scheduled matches.

- Answer phone, open and distribute mail, draft and respond to emails, compose correspondence and greet visitors.
- Arrange and coordinate travel, working with the travel coordinator when necessary for airline travel, charter bus companies, hotels, rental cars and other transportation to the airport and tournament venues.
- Prepare and distribute trip plan itineraries for all team travel.
- Work with visiting teams as a liaison for hotel information, practice schedules, parking issues, etc.
- Assist with scheduling, maintain calendar, prepare and send out yearly contracts for home matches. Work with hotel representatives by providing information about visiting schools and their scheduled matches.
- Travel with team to away contests. Schedule/coordinate team meals, hotels, transportation, etc. on the road.

- Assist with paperwork, travel arrangements and compliance for official and unofficial recruiting visits.
- Create, send correspondence and maintain a database for prospects on a yearly basis; maintain records for compliance paperwork (time accountability, telephone logs, contact and evaluations, etc.) in accordance with NCAA rules and regulations.

- Prepare expense reports for coaches and reconcile with direct deposits and credit card statements.
- Order and manage annual awards, plaques, Senior Day activities.
- Produce and organize an annual awards banquet for student-athletes, parents, lettermen and friends of Georgia Women’s Tennis.

- Coordination of yearly tournament(s) organization, including emailing information and applications, working with hotels to block off rooms, collect entries and assist with making the draw prior to the tournament.
- Organize the coaches meeting including the agenda, collect any entry fees, and distribute the coach’s packet.
- Work with event management and promotions for scheduling of practice courts, parking permits for team vehicles, hospitality during tournament, and meals for workers and volunteers.
- Alumni relations and booster club: maintain database, periodic mailings, help with electronic and paper newsletter, collect and acknowledge yearly donations and contributions.
- Work with accountant for yearly audit and tax preparation.
