Salary Range/Pay Rate

$102,064 annually.

| Minimum Qualifications |
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. - A minimum of four (4) years progressively responsible experience in development and fundraising, preferably with several years of experience in a collegiate/university setting. - Transferable skill sets will be taken into consideration. - Demonstrated success in obtaining gifts of $25,000 and above and/or closing a series of major gifts within a fiscal year. - Experience working with fundraising volunteers. - Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills. - Ability to interact effectively with high capacity donors and prospects, corporate executives, and foundation officers. - Thorough knowledge of the major gifts fundraising process and an understanding of planned giving. - Knowledge of the computer and databases and their application to development and fundraising activities. - Requirements could include evening meetings, special event attendance and/or travel. - Must possess a valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable to the University by the University’s insurance carrier.

- Master’s degree. - Certified Fund Raising Executive and campaign experience preferred. - Knowledge or experience fundraising in the areas of Teacher Education, Human Resource Development, Counseling and/or Leadership desired.

Serve as a major/planned giving officer reporting to the Associate VP for Philanthropy and works closely with the Athletic Director, athletics department coaches and staff.
