| Position Summary |
The Coordinator of Player Development for Softball will work with coaches to understand the performance techniques of players, assess needs, review stats and thoughtfully implement recommendations to develop and improve skills using sports science technology. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to video analysis, scouting reports, implementing and tracking student-athlete development while ensuring compliance with NCAA and SEC rules and regulations. Responsible for game-day operations and off-the-field activities of student-athletes, including but not limited to providing advice and counsel related to life skills, academic success, personal development, and community involvement; assist with Leadership Council; serve as liaison to high school coaches and GHSA; provide leadership and support programs related to student-athlete wellness.

| Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies |
- Working knowledge of NCAA rules and compliance practices.
- Read, analyze, and interpret collected data from various performance systems such as Rapsodo and Blast Motion.
- Basic understanding of Synergy/Dartfish Video sharing system.
- Basic to advanced understanding of Trackman Radar/FlightScope System.
- Ability to run video software.
- Familiarity with basic softball analytics.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret collected data Interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form Communicate effectively, both verbal and written.
