Director of Player Personnel & Development for Football
The Director of Player Personnel and Development for Football provides support and assistance to the Head Football Coach, the football coaching staff and other campus/departmental units to ensure the quality academic and personal development of football student-athletes.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement programs to assist student-athletes in their transition into the college environment.
Liaison to the Office of Academic and Student Services to ensure player needs are addressed as they relate to academics and/or personal problems.

Job Responsibilities:
Develop and implement programs to assist student-athletes in their transition into the college environment.
Liaison to the Office of Academic and Student Services to ensure player needs are addressed as they relate to academics and/or personal problems.
Working with the Office of Academic and Student Services and the Head Football Coach, coordinate personal development initiatives and community service activities.
Working with the Office of Academic and Student Services and the Head Football Coach, monitor at-risk student-athletes.
Working with the Office of Institutional Advancement and the Office of Alumni Relations, coordinates events for former football student-athletes.
Monitor class, study hall and tutor session attendance.
Assist with on-campus recruiting.
Assist in the coordination of football camps and clinics.
Assist
NFL
organizations with their scouts and evaluation of players
Other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
1-2 years of experience within intercollegiate athletics
Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
Strong work ethic and self-starter
Strong organizational skills
Great attention to detail
Must be willing to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree
Work requires working with highly sensitive or confidential information and occasional overnight travel may occur.
