About the Position:
This role is an on-campus, in-person position.
The Director of Recruiting will oversee planning, operations, and logistics of prospects events; act as liaison to Creative in managing all prospect graphic requests; lead written letter campaigns for prospects and parents; organize recruiting receipts, reimbursements, and budget; work alongside the Assistant Directors of On-Campus Recruiting and Recruiting Operations; work with the Senior Director of Head Coach Operations on head coach/prospect meeting schedules; oversee compliance prospect needs & requests; and manage player initial eligibility and NCAA Eligibility Center.
Essential Functions:
Oversee Planning, Operations, and Logistics of Recruiting Events.
Oversee Prospect Official Visit Travel Logistics.
Oversee Prospect & Parent Communication Plan and Schedule.
Oversee Prospect Graphic Request.
Oversee Written Letters Plan for Prospects & Parents.
Oversee Recruiting Receipts, Reimbursements, and Budget.
Manage Operations of the Recruiting Department.
Manage Student Recruiting Assistant Schedules, Task, and Assignments.
Manage Prospect Signing Day Processes & Procedures.
Manage Player Initial Eligibility and NCAA Eligibility Center.
Position requires regular evening and weekend work for recruiting visits, games, and practice, as well as frequent travel for recruiting efforts and games.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree is required.
A minimum of three years of experience is required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Candidate must demonstrate strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate broadly across the University and develop and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of constituencies. Must also demonstrate strong written communication skills.
Candidate must possess strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and analyze problems, as well as devise solutions. Must also have strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
Candidate must have ability to manage multiple projects.
Candidate must have ability to achieve effective recruiting results.
