Apply NowThe Assistant Director of Athletics for Student-Athlete Success and GEDI oversees all matters related to student-athletes' academic success and well-being. The Assistant Director of Athletics for Student-Athlete Success and GEDI also assists the Vice President for Athletics with sports oversight duties. In addition, the Assistant Director of Athletics for Student-Athlete Success and GEDI oversees the Student-Athletes Success Center. The Director of Athletics for Student-Athlete Success is the NCAA Athletics Diversity and Inclusion Designee and chairs the department's Gender Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
Maintain a culture of compliance with all NCAA, conference and institutional rules and regulations
Oversee the operation of the Student-Athlete Success Center
Oversee the Student-Athlete Success program and staff
Develop and implement plans to monitor student-athlete academic progress, progress toward graduation, and retention
Serve on the institution's Retention Committee
Serve on the Athletics Advisory Council
Chair the department's Gender Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee
Serve on the Athletics Certification Committee
Attend South Atlantic Conference and NCAA meetings as needed
Serve as the NCAA ADID
Provide sports oversight as assigned by the Vice President of Athletics
Develop programming to support the holistic development of student-athletes
Attends SAAC meetings as needed
