The Director of Ticket Sales and Operations is responsible for the oversight of all ticketing functions and retail operations with a focus on generating revenue and attendance for all of our ticketed sports within our Division 1 athletic department.
Job Description
Major Areas of Responsibility
Develop, manage, and execute ticket sales campaigns for ticketed sports of Football, Men’s Basketball, Women’s Basketball, and Men’s Ice Hockey
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for single game, group, and season tickets. Lead sales generation in prospecting, negotiating, and closing ticket sales opportunities.
Meets or exceeds predetermined daily, weekly, monthly, and overall ticket and revenue goals for all ticketed sports.
Self-prospects new season ticket and group ticket buyers to generate new leads. Works with marketing staff to develop group leads through the creation and development of themed group nights and create relationships in the organization to increase the reach and success of promotional events.
Answers inbound sales and service calls, providing assistance and customer service to customers. Utilizes the CRM software to manage accounts, settle disputes, and analyze customer trends to further revenue and attendance.
Develop customized hospitality experiences to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
Coordinate pre-game events, receptions, and other hospitality initiatives to elevate the fan experience.
Works various sporting events and community events promoting ticket opportunities and developing leads and selling directly to consumers. Manages setting up displays and coordinating events with festivals, events, and companies.
Assists with the coordination of all game day ticket sales and game day management and activities for all ticketed sports and meets with clients and develops new leads.

Assists in the distribution of marketing materials to businesses and individuals.
Contribute to Athletics External Relations strategy for revenue maximization, enhance fan experience, and strengthening of the Holy Cross brand.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience
Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, including both verbal and written
Experience working with ticketing systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet expected deadlines
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations

The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $50,000. This position can earn additional compensation through performance based incentives.
