Position Summary Information

| Summary |
The Director of Ticketing will oversee the day-to-day operations of the box office including, but not limited to, ticket sales initiatives, staffing and customer service. The position reports to the Associate Athletics Director for External Relations and will collaborate effectively with marketing, communications, media productions and development for the overall success of the athletics department. | | Essential Duties and Responsibilities |

1. Understand and agree to abide by the mission of CBU and the CBU Athletics Department.
2. Directs the development and execution of sales and marketing plans.
3. Directs the design and implementation of all comprehensive season tickets, corporate and group sales strategies.
4. Manage, train and supervise Assistant Director of Ticketing, students, interns, or graduate assistants assigned to this area in accordance with University policy and Federal and State regulations.
5. Responsible for managing and operating the ticketing system (currently Paciolan/TicketsWest), which includes, but is not limited to, event building, ticket and promotion configuration, user security, ticket design and proofing.
6. Primary liaison with ticket system vendor to ensure all hardware and software are working efficiently for staff and customer use.
7. Provide exceptional customer service, conflict resolution and enforcement of NCAA regulations as they relate to ticketing for home competitions to include recruits, high school coaches, players, families, general public, boosters and donors.
8. Oversee communication plan with customers across all outlets: walk-up, phone, and digital.
9. Implement individual game, season ticket, and group sales strategies for athletic ticketed sporting events with an emphasis on growing fan base and revenue.
10. Coordinate with various members of the athletics department including, but not limited to, marketing, communications, media productions, development, facilities and event management.
11. Prepares regular ticket sales audits and reports to reflect revenue and attendance at events.
12. Communicates with donors, public, students, and faculty-staff on a regular basis to resolve seating needs, complaints, and staff support.
13. Directs the operation and administration of the ticket sales staff including the development of action plans, strategic goal setting, staff performance management and professional development, budget planning and expense monitoring.
14. Responsible for supporting University-related ticketed events including, but not limited to, commencement ceremonies, the annual Christmas concert, and sports camps and clinics.
15. Maintains policies and procedures manual for ticketing office.
16. Adhere to all institutional, conference, and NCAA by-laws and regulations. | | Supervisory Responsibilities |
    Directly supervises Assistant Director of Ticketing, Athletics department staff, work-study students, interns, or graduate assistants assigned to this area in accordance with University policy and Federal and State regulations. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. | | Other Knowledge Skills and Abilities |

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit; and requires sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate computer keyboard or other office equipment. Requires visual acuity to read words and numbers; and speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate in person or over the phone.
