Position Information
The Director of Ticketing manages the day-to-day ticketing operations for the Athletics Department. This position will actively manage timelines/execute plans to hit revenue and ticketing goals for the fiscal year including ticket packages and single game tickets for Men's and Women's Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Men's and Women's Soccer, Volleyball, Track and Field/Cross Country. This role will assist with creating results-driven sales strategies, ticketing manifests, and is expected to drive outbound call volume, sales revenue, and face-to-face meetings around various ticket sales campaigns. Responsible for driving ticket sales to grow revenue for the Department of Athletics, monitor, analyze and interpret ticket sales data, financial settlements, revenue generation, ticket software maintenance, marketing campaigns and providing assistance in the area of event management. Responsible for ensuring all requirements of the job are executed consistently and efficiently. Responsible for providing supervision of the ticket and event student staff. Work in collaboration with the Athletics Business Office (ABO) for reporting and reconciliation of ticket sales. Responsible for working with the ABO to ensure the necessary internal controls and cash management follow the University policies and procedures. The full salary range for the Director of Ticketing is $68,500.00 - $121,900.00 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff. | 20% | | Researches, analyzes, monitors and evaluates sales efforts for effectiveness, reporting results to appropriate higher levels of administration. - Lead, monitor and manage progress of sales towards goals and objectives. Responsible for daily supervision and training of student workers and/or temporary staff. Develop sales goals and implement ideas, programs and strategies to sell a variety of ticket products (season, mini plans, groups, etc.) for all ticketed sports. Further develop and continue to implement effective lead management strategy.

Work directly with the Assistant Athletics Director of Operations and Facilities to produce periodic and up-to-date ticket sales reports for both season ticket and individual game ticket sales; compile and analyze data on ticket and souvenir sales, income projections, pricing strategies, year-to-year comparisons, and trends. | 15% | | Creates, develops, produces and coordinates public events, including securing private corporate sponsorship as required. - Develop season ticket plans for baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, softball and volleyball working closely with marketing to meet ticket sales goals; maintain season ticket database for each sport; develop annual season ticket application and coordinate distribution; coordinate production and distribution of all tickets; assign season ticket seat locations per policy; solicit season ticket prospects; print and distribute season tickets for all applicable sports.
