Manage and oversee all facets of the Smith Track and Field and Cross- Country programs. Serve as primary coach for indoor/outdoor Track and Field. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: administration, budget management, alumni stewardship, recruiting, scheduling of competitions, meet management, including hiring officials, team travel, weekly practice sessions, advising of students, and compliance with NCAA and conference rules and regulations. In addition, this position will include teaching responsibilities and instruction in the Exercise and Sport Science Department. Additional responsibilities may include department wide duties as assigned.

Teach and lead student-athletes including a demonstrated ability to work with a diverse, academically selective student population. Knowledge of track and field skills, strategies, and teaching progressions. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; good judgment, discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Computer skills include word processing, database management, and email communication.
