Athletic Administration
The Director of Video & Network Production will support the College of Charleston Athletics Department, its student-athletes, and fans, primarily focusing on delivering world-class broadcast content and programming while producing creative and engaging video operations. The position will produce original video content for the Charleston Sports Network, FloSports, regional and national television, and other official department channels and opportunities.
The incumbent will work with local, regional, and national TV affiliates and the College of Charleston External team to enhance the CofC brand, support revenue generation, boost fan engagement, and tell the story of CofC Athletics and its student-athletes.
This position will also oversee the Assistant Director of Multimedia, two additional Multimedia staff positions & the Charleston Network staff & student workers. The position reports directly to the Associate Athletics Director for External Operations.
Bachelor’s Degree in broadcast journalism, video production, Radio/TV/Film, communications, or another related field preferred. Minimum of four years’ experience in a broadcast production and/or creative video department setting. Relevant undergraduate experience in the field of professional or collegiate athletics is preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.
Experience with digital video hardware (e.g. Newtek, Ross, Canon, Daktronics), software (e.g. Adobe Premiere, AfterEffects, Motion Array and Photoshop or equivalent programs). Experience working on live productions, serving in director and/or producer role. Extensive knowledge of digital media landscape, both technical and creative. Strong technical skills and ability to leverage emerging media. Ability to operate, maintain and teach others on necessary broadcast equipment, including but not limited to TriCaster, replay system, LiveText,

, camera operation, etc.
Strong problem-solving, interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines are preferred.
Strong technical experience related to broadcast engineering & video board operations is preferred.
Strong quantitative & analytical ability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work regular and extended hours required

Ability to work regular and extended hours required. Possible overnight travel.
