Job Description

The University of Iowa Department of Athletics seeks a self-motivated, results-oriented individual with the knowledge, ability, and interpersonal skills required to serve as Director of Volleyball Video Analytics and Assistant Coach. This is a full-time position with a salary commensurate with education and experience and includes full University benefits.

The Director of Volleyball Video Analytics and Assistant Coach is responsible for providing administrative, instructional, and coaching assistance to the Head Coach as well as video editing and production support and analytic information to the coaching staff pertaining to Iowa Volleyball and opponents with the purpose of building a successful, competitive intercollegiate sports program that also retains and graduate’s student-athletes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent);
  • Minimum of one year experience shooting, editing, compiling and transferring video footage in a collegiate sports setting including:

    • Utilizing Hudl Sports Code computerized editing system or equivalent (please specify); and/or utilizing a film database such as Synergy (please specify).
    • Utilizing Apple and Microsoft operating system
