Job Purpose

Reporting to the Head Coach, the Director of Women’s Basketball Operations assists with all operational and administrative aspects of the Women’s Basketball program.

Job Summary

Coordinates practice times at home and on the road and assists with organizational aspects of practice.

Records and maintains statistics during practices and games.

Plans and arranges team travel.

Plans and arranges meals at home and away.

Makes all arrangements for team members during university breaks.

Works with the department’s marketing and communications staff on social media accounts and promotions to increase attendance.

Serves as liaison for Women’s Basketball team managers.

Manages the administrative functions of summer camps and serves as camp liaison.

Directs on-campus recruiting visits, including travel arrangements and itineraries.

Plans and coordinates special events for Women’s Basketball alumni and programs.

Coordinates all coach and player ticket requests.

Assists coaches with academic and personal development of student-athletes.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of relevant work experience for an intercollegiate athletic program or amateur or professional sports.

Preferred Qualifications

Playing or coaching experience at the college/university level.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Summary

rules and regulations. Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Ability to work with staff, student-athletes and coaches from diverse backgrounds. Ability to work flexible hours.
