Provides assistance to Head Women's Basketball Coach with activities associated with the Women's Basketball program. Maintains alumni and community outreach efforts, including interaction with campus offices, students and faculty/staff.

• Provides assistance to Head Women's Basketball Coach with activities associated with the Women's Basketball program. Maintains alumni and community outreach efforts, including interaction with campus offices, students and faculty/staff.
• Coordinates participation of the Women's Basketball team community service activities.
• Recommends and directs the planning, scheduling, promotion, coordination for all special events for the Women's Basketball team.
• Represents the University and the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics on behalf of Women's Basketball at professional meetings, alumni events community service functions and other events as necessary.
• Maintains discretion when handling confidential information.
• Adheres to all State of Florida, University, Conference USA and NCAA rules, regulations and policies pertaining to the position of Assistant Director of Operations. Reports any known NCAA violations or concerns to the Director of Athletic Compliance and be responsible for the monitoring of any subordinate as it relates to NCAA regulations.
• Serves as a University card user for departmental transactions. Adheres to University credit card policies and procedures. Handles cash transactions as needed.
• Responsible and/or liaison for women's basketball team travel, meals, housing, compliance, scheduling, and any other administrative aspect of the women's basketball program.
• Works closely with the Athletic Business Office to reconcile expense report.

Minimum Qualifications

 

• Bachelor's degree and four (4) years of related experience; OR a Master's degree and two (2) years of related experience; OR eight (8) of related experience; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

Desired Qualifications

 

• Previous work experience with a collegiate athletic team.
• Experience monitoring budgets and expense accounts.
• Supervision experience.
