Are you a high-performer who wants to contribute to a mission-driven and values-based organization? If you are motivated by doing impactful work and making a difference in people’s lives, then the Indiana University Foundation (IUF) is the place for you. At the IUF, we believe in making the dream of higher education attainable, providing support for life-changing research, and preparing the next generation of leaders.
As a trailblazer among our peers, we provide fundraising leadership and endowment stewardship to support needs and initiatives across all of Indiana University’s campuses. As part of our team, you will help make IU donors' dreams last forever.
At the IUF we work hard, celebrate achievements, and foster an environment where everyone’s contributions matter. We are nimble and innovative, and we want you to bring your ideas and energy to join forces with some of the best talent in our industry.
In addition to being part of a meaningful mission as an IUF employee, you’ll find there are many ways to connect and collaborate. Our FUNdation (see what we did there?) Committee helps us connect and unwind with food truck lunches, holiday gatherings, costume contests, free snacks, IU spirit-wear Fridays, and spontaneous gestures that surprise and delight. Our Wellness Committee ensures that the health and well-being of our employees is top of mind through outstanding benefits, mental health offerings, and activities. We encourage community leadership and service and make space for our staff to pursue their passions. Our total rewards philosophy ensures that we support employees financially, emotionally, and in their career growth.
If the IUF sounds like a fit for you, we invite you to join us today.
This is a fully on-site role reporting out of the Indiana University Memorial Stadium and the IU Foundation Showalter House. The estimated salary range for this position is $48,000-$53,000, commensurate with experience and education.
As the Donor Engagement Associate, Athletics, you are the person behind the experience, coordinating and executing the moments that connect Indiana University Foundation donors to the energy and tradition of IU Athletics. From football and basketball game days to postseason events and high-demand athletic opportunities, your work ensures that every donor touchpoint is warm, seamless, and intentional.
On any given day you may be managing logistics across multiple events simultaneously, purchasing ticket allocations, coordinating guest lists with development officers, and ensuring post-event documentation and dashboards are accurate and complete. You'll get to coordinate ticketing activity across athletics events, build donor communications, and route messaging through internal teams and leadership to ensure every touchpoint is polished and on-brand. You'll also have the opportunity to plan ahead — forecasting suite needs and mapping out engagement strategy for the next season even while executing on the current one. You track budgets, process invoices and reimbursements, and evaluate engagement outcomes to inform future planning.

You will also support the broader Donor Engagement and Events team on recognition events, advancement programs, and cross-functional initiatives across the Foundation.
This role requires regular evening and weekend hours during athletics seasons and occasional travel for postseason or donor engagement opportunities. If you're energized by fast-moving environments where priorities shift, plans evolve, and no two game days look the same, we encourage you to apply.
