Job Description:
Primary Function : Assists in the coordination of all aspects of the Panther Scholarship Club (PSC); oversees hospitality, tailgating, and premium spaces at home UNI Athletics events; leads/assists on PSC and Athletic special events including but not limited to Rally in the Valley, Women at Play, and UNI Athletics at Riverside; leads/assists on special events and initiatives including but not limited to Panther Caravan, TC’s Tailgate, Main Street Madness, and Split Pot; implements a stewardship strategy that thanks, retains, and cultivates PSC members; fulfills PSC donor benefits; processes donations, related paperwork, and completes other clerical work; supervises student employees; and acts as a front-line fundraiser for the Panther Scholarship Club via face-to-face, phone, and email outreach; and serves as the department’s liaison to the UNI Alumni Association.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree plus at least one year of fundraising, marketing, donor relations and/or event coordination experience required. College athletics experience; and volunteer coordination experience preferred. Student experience will be considered. Occasional local travel and evening and weekend work necessary. Must abide by the rules of the NCAA, the Missouri Valley Conference, the Missouri Valley Football Conference, Big 12 Conference, and the University of Northern Iowa.
