The E-Commerce Manager reports to the Assistant Athletic Director for Revenue Generation and will manage the day-to-day operations of our eCommerce sales process and customer experience. This position will identify and implement ways to improve and personalize the customer experience, increase conversion rates, and average order values while identifying new opportunities that will impact business goals. This position will manage the execution of our email marketing strategy, product messaging, sales landing pages, and conversion rate analytics. The primary focus of this position is to increase ticket sales and donation revenue, improve lead generation efforts, understand, and grow the overall Husky Athletics fan base, and develop unique consumer insights through qualitative and quantitative testing methods. Responsibilities – Serve as the primary daily creator for all ticket sales related email campaigns (25%). Manage and oversee the e-Commerce sales process (15%). Drive e-Commerce conversion, average order value, email signups, and other goals through user-level content testing, personalization, and messaging segmentation (10%). Transform customer data into actionable insights and provide accurate interpretation and consistent reporting of data on customer metrics and campaign results to share with the leadership teams (10%). Manage dashboards including but not limited to engagement rates, revenue generation, and database growth (10%). Manage all stages of the marketing automation process to drive ticket revenue, including conception, content creation, segmentation, and execution (10%). Coordinate with Husky Athletics Marketing, Sundodger Creative, Retention, Ticket Operations, and Husky Sports Properties to fulfill all required communications (10%). Maintain up-to-date status report for all requests from submission to execution and provide timelines of all coming communications (5%). Manage and develop lead generation initiatives in conjunction with the Creative team and Sundodger using Adobe Campaign, GoHuskies.com, and social channels (5%). Other duties as assigned. Compliance with the rules and regulations of the University, the NCAA, the Conference, the State of Washington and any other governing body is of paramount importance to the University. The overall responsibility of this position is for the successful operation of the program in full compliance with all such rules and regulations. As a condition of employment, the Employee shall be required to participate in rules education programs offered by the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Minimum Requirements – High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience with marketing automation best practices, including but not limited to automated workflow creation, revenue tracking, and lead generation. Additional Requirements – Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Dreamweaver and photoshop. Familiarity gathering insights out of qualitative and quantitative data. Excellent communication, copywriting, and proofreading skills. Proven ability to work as a team player. Able to work with multiple departments and stakeholders and handle multiple projects with varying deadlines. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with non-traditional hours including some nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary. Desired – Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience in an applicable field. Familiarity with HTML and experience with the Paciolan platform, Salesforce, and Eloqua Campaign preferred.
