The Opportunity
In this newly created leadership position reporting to Bernard Muir, The Jaquish and Kenninger Director of Athletics, you will be responsible for providing strategic oversight and leadership to our 36 varsity sports and internal sport operations. This position is a member of the DAPER Executive Team and will play a pivotal role in supporting our student-athletes and ensuring the continued successful operation of our sports program. The Executive Associate Athletics Director will work closely with coaching and team staff to establish goals, plan, and manage budgets for equipment, travel, facility, training, or related resources, and ensure the highest level of performance and compliance within the department. Additionally, this position will oversee performance management for coaches and team staff and ensure the allocation of resources is aligned with Stanford’s gender equity and Title IX values and priorities

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of full-time, progressively responsible administrative experience in intercollegiate athletic operations, or a combination of education and relevant experience

Pay Range:
The expected pay for this position is $176,000 - $240,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
