Department Specific Functions
Serve in an advisory role to the Head Football coach on all aspects of the football program assisting in providing quality control.
· Serve as a sounding board for head Coach
· Serve as a resource for staff
· Provide assessments of all aspect of program to assist head coach (including recruiting, film breakdown, player development and discipline, operational insights, etc.
Provide assistance and advice to the head coach regarding team dynamics, team culture and team building. Serve as a mentor and a resource for student-athletes.
Assist and advice head coach and recruiting staff regarding recruiting, as permissible under NCAA rules.
Responsible for maintaining compliance with NCAA, Atlantic Coast Conference, institutional and departmental rules.
All other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach, Football Recruiting Coordinator or the Deputy Athletic Director.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization.
