Executive Director of Operations, Women's Soccer

This position is responsible for providing support to the overall operation of the Vanderbilt women’s soccer program. This includes, but is not limited to, coordination of various services within the department, daily team operations, travel, and overall programmatic structure.

Duties and Responsibilities
 

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the Women’s Soccer office
  • Develop, execute, and maintain efficient office systems
• Responsible for coordinating liaison positions (i.e. Compliance, Business Office, Alumni/Fundraising, Equipment, Facilities/Grounds, etc.)
• Serve as Camp Director and oversee all logistical aspects of Vanderbilt Soccer camps
• Assist with all aspects of recruiting visits, both unofficial and official, as needed
• Work closely with Head Coach, as well as the Athletic Business Office, to monitor purchases and maintain operating budgets
• Work closely with National Commodore Club (fundraising) and Black & Gold club (alumni) on initiatives to support the program

• Work closely with National Commodore Club (fundraising) and Black & Gold club (alumni) on initiatives to support the program
  • Collaborate to establish and grow fundraising support for the program
  • Assist in hosting alumni and/or fundraising events as needed
• Oversee and direct all aspects of team travel itineraries
• Comply with NCAA and SEC rules and regulations
• Performs additional duties and special projects as assigned by the Head Coach

Education and Certifications

• A Bachelor’s degree is necessary
• Previous office management experience is necessary; prior experience in athletic administration is preferred.
• Organized, detail oriented and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision is necessary.
• Great interpersonal skills is necessary.
• Prior experience in a supervisory position is preferred.
• Ability to work a non-standard work week including nights, weekends & holidays is necessary.
