General Description of Work

Whatcom Community College welcomes applications for a Head Women's Basketball Coach. The Head Coach for Women’s Basketball provides leadership and direction for the women’s basketball program for Whatcom Community College (WCC). Reporting to the Director for Athletics, the successful candidate will teach advanced basketball skills at the collegiate level, hire qualified coaches to assist in the development of student-athletes, develop, manage, and assess budgets and equipment adhering to WCC athletic policies, and ensure academic and athletic eligibility of all women’s basketball student-athletes. In collaboration with the Athletics Department and student-athletes, the head coach is also responsible for fundraising for their programs.
