The Finance Specialist is a member of the Athletics and Physical Education finance team and provides a critical role in stewarding accurate and timely internal transactions to ensure reliable data sources for financial as well as compliance reporting.  This position works closely with both the Team Travel and Operations Coordinator and the Associate Athletic Director of Finance to verify coding on travel documents, enterprise revenue transactions and internal billing documents. In addition, the Finance Specialist assists in monitoring internal controls around Procurement Card Industry (PCI) and credit card usage.

This is a 12-month term appointment; ability to extend appointment beyond term is dependent on business need, continued funding, and performance.
