Job Summary/Basic Function
The Assistant Football Coach and Offensive Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the offense.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Help promote and sell the philosophical approach established by the head coach.
Develop, organize, and implement aggressive and fundamental offensive play package.
Instruct offensive staff on the techniques and fundamentals necessary to execute.
Work in conjunction with the head coach to ensure practice structure is conducive to the goals of the offensive scheme.
Responsible for all game planes, play calls, and game day adjustments.
Evaluate performances daily and make appropriate corrections.
Keep head coach aware of all strategies.
Perform daily locker room walkthroughs to promote a prideful atmosphere.
Recruit assigned areas and follow the guidelines established by the head coach and recruiting coordinator.
Provide professional development of the offensive staff.
Run check-in procedures for camp and secure all in-season campus reservation needs.
Aid in the development for Football Camps.
Coordinate all offensive video activities.
Other duties as assigned by athletic director, head coach, or assistant coach.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Valid driver’s license
Experience playing collegiate level football
Experience as an Offensive Coordinator
Experience coaching/recruiting for college football
Experience with Hudl required
Knowledge of adherence to
NCAA
Division II, and Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference rules and regulations are also required.
