Description of Job Duties
Job Summary:
The Graduate Assistant for Football is responsible for assisting in all phases of coaching an intercollegiate football team; including practice, recruiting, scouting, game management, and promotions. The graduate assistant will also assist the Athletic Department with various other related facets including; event management, special events, and other activities as appropriate.
Description of Job Duties:
Assist with coaching a position group
Recruiting a designated area
Film breakdown and analysis
Travel is required
Other duties as assigned
Terms of Employment:
Employment at will
Reports to Football Head Coach
Safety and job-related trainings will be completed as instructed
Eligible to receive a tuition waiver each semester
Graduate Assistant must maintain a minimum of 2.50GPAand be enrolled in at least 5 hours of classes for the fall and spring semesters
A Graduate Assistant should be working at a level higher than an undergraduate student employee. For example: teaching/instructing undergraduates in or out of the classroom as assigned, critiquing/grading undergraduate work/skills, etc.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree completed; enrolled in graduate program and working in field of study.
