Football Graduate Assistant
Defiance College, an NAIA institution and member of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) located in Northwest Ohio, seeks applicants for two football graduate assistant coaches. Responsibilities include coaching; all aspects of recruiting; assisting with film breakdown; game and practice preparation, including video cut-ups; serving as an assistant for equipment; assisting head coach in other duties as requested; and other administrative duties as assigned. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree, have previous experience coaching or playing football at the high school, collegiate or professional level, possess a valid driver’s license, and have a clean driving record.
This is a two-year assistantship with a start date of August 3, 2026. The successful candidates must be accepted into the Defiance College graduate program in Education (MAE) or Business (MBA) and will be awarded a full graduate school tuition scholarship covering a maximum of 36 credit hours. Applicants pursuing a graduate degree in Education must hold a teaching license to be eligible for the Defiance College MAE program. Compensation includes a monthly stipend, college-provided housing, and a meal plan on campus when meals are served to students during the academic year.
