The  Athletics Department  at Georgia State University is seeking to hire a  Player Relations/Special Assistant to the Head Coach.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

This person will assist with all planning and logistics of the Football program.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• The role will manage the head coach and football staff calendar. 

• Assist the head coach in developing policies and procedures for the football office. 

• Position will manage the onboarding of all football student-athletes which includes admissions requirements, housing arrangements, compliance forms, competition and sports medicine evaluations. This includes the following:
  • On and Off Campus Move-in
  • Collection of High School Transcripts and ensuring applications are completed to university
  • Communication to PSA's admittance to university
  • All paperwork upload and processes on Compliance Platform

• Position will serve as the liaison to the Athletics Compliance and Ticket Office for the football program. 

• This position handles all communication to player parents & families, high school coach outreach and occasional social media content creation.

Qualifications

: 

Minimum Hiring Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and one year of related experience; or a combination of education and experience.
