The
Football Recruiting Associate
is a non-coaching position responsible for many tasks within the recruiting office’s operation, evaluation, and hosting process which will aid in the football program’s overall success. This position will work with our recruiting services to evaluate prospects physical abilities and make a critical determination as to whether they should move on through our recruiting process. This position will also be the first evaluation of transcripts to evaluate the academic fit of the prospects as it relates to Notre Dame standards. Responsibilities will also include uploading highlight film of prospects from one platform (hudl) to another platform (
XOS
) that can be consumed by coaches, creating highlight films of recruits by viewing game films and selecting appropriate plays to make an evaluation, and organizing final prospect film for the coach’s evaluation by position or area. This position will also be responsible for maintaining the recruiting board which is in constant flux given commitments, de-commitments, signings at other schools, and our own internal roster changes. Furthermore, this position will host prospect visitors and their families as the main point of contact on official and unofficial visits to campus at all times of year. Beyond that which they are immediately responsible for, the Recruiting Associate will also assist coaches with their prospect lists, communication efforts on multiple platforms, and creation of football related content to be sent to the prospects. They will assist in evaluation of prospects at in-person camps and clinics as well as organizing and distributing testing data from these camps.
Bachelor’s Degree (4 years)
Experience with the sport of football; general knowledge of a university structure and compliance rules (in concept) and a commitment to adhere to policies as set forth by the university and the
NCAA
; excellent written and verbal skills; proficient computer skills in multiple programs (Microsoft suite, Adobe, or similar).
