Position Summary:

Responsible for manning the front desk at the Jake Nevin Field House/Talley Athletic Center: greet and direct all visitors; handle all department mail; and answer the general information telephone line.

All duties must be completed in compliance with University and

NCAA

rules and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Greeting visitors in a warm and welcoming manner that will reflect positively on the university, directing them to the correct office or individual, and answering any questions that individual may have.

Sorting and delivery of mail and handling delivery of packages.

Answering phone in a welcoming manner

Walk around and inspect facilities for open doors, trash, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma Required.

Ability to direct visitors to proper office, coach or university location.

Understanding the weekly schedule within all Villanova athletic facilities to quickly assist any questions an individual may have.

Weekly schedule will always be provided Monday morning.

Ability to interact with staff, coaches and visitors on a regular basis.

Create a memorable welcoming experience to reflect positively on Villanova University.

Ability to operate select office machines.

Ability to operate phone systems.

Basic computer skills.

Villanova University attire or button down/collared shirt. Khaki or dress pants. Hats are permitted but must be Villanova or Nike branded. Must be worn forward. Clean sneakers or dress shoes.

Preferred Qualifications:

Good people skills, customer service skills a plus.

Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours:

Some inspection of facilities may be required at various times of the day.
