We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our Athletics Physical Therapy team. The Physical Therapy Aide will support the Athletics Physical Therapist in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing physical rehabilitation. This role involves assisting with patient care, maintaining a clean and organized therapy environment, and performing administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in a health-related field is a plus.
Previous experience in a healthcare or therapy setting is preferred but not required.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with patients and team members.
Basic knowledge of anatomy, physical therapy techniques, and medical terminology is a plus.
Proficiency in using office software and equipment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods.
Capability to lift and carry up to [weight, e.g., 50 lbs] and assist with patient mobility.
Work Environment:
This position involves working in a clinical setting with exposure to patients undergoing physical rehabilitation.
The role requires adherence to safety and infection control procedures.

Qualifies for Federal Work Study funding for the 2024-2025 academic year.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
Able to manage and maintain sensitive and confidential information, ensuring it is handled securely and in compliance with HIPAA regulations and Pacific University’s policies and procedures.
Possesses good oral and written communication skills, and excellent customer service skills including the ability to work with diverse populations of students, staff, faculty, and community members.
