Job Summary/Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to: · Assist in the day-to-day management and operation of the Men’s Basketball team· Perform, as needed, all duties assigned by Director of Operations and Coaching staff· Work closely with Director of Operations to maintain organization of equipment and gear of team· Complete designated office hours as assigned by Director of Operations (creating documents, organizing files, logistic planning for team travel)· Perform traditional managerial duties (i.e. equipment, laundry, hydration, etc).· Observe or perform administrative duties during practice or competition (e.g., track statistics, run clock)· Network and assist in maintaining positive relationships with department personnel on behalf of the program (marketing, administration, communications, facilities)· Assist with implementing community service opportunities for the team

Required Qualifications

Excellent organizational, planning, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.Must be a current or incoming full-time student (minimum 12 credit hours per semester) eligible for and accepts FWS funding.Ability to work collaboratively with others or independently as the situation requiresBe available for nights and weekend practice/games as neededKnowledge of Basketball rules/guidelines is helpful
