Saint Francis University, a member of the NCAA Division I competing in the Northeast Conference, invites applications for the position of Graduate Assistant Athletic Performance Coach. The Graduate Assistant is directly responsible to the Director of Athletic Performance to assist with all aspects o0f implementation of the Athletic Performance programs of 23 Division I sports and Spirit Groups.
Candidate must have a commitment to adhering to all rules and regulations of Saint Francis University, the Northeast Conference, and the NCAA. In addition, the candidates must understand and actively support the mission of the Department of Athletics and Saint Francis University.
Bachelor's degree is required. Certification by the NSCA (CSCS) or the CSCCa (SCCC) required. First Aid, CPR, and AED certification through any of the accredited institutions is required. Strong verbal and interpersonal communications skills are preferred.
Compensation for positions is tuition remission in a Saint Francis University master's degree program and a stipend with the coaching positions. Candidates must be admitted into a master's program at Saint Francis University in order to qualify for the position.
