Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Game Day Marketing Assistant for the Athletics Department.Among the key duties of this position are the following: Assists with Rutgers Football and other athletic events on game day, including set up, execution and breakdown. Works outside events hosted on campus to execute fan experience responsibilities (i.e. high school football/basketball games). Assists in office as needed with planning and executing for these events.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Prior experience working in an athletics or sports event environment for at least 1 year.
Use of personal vehicle in order to travel for business demands; a valid driver’s license would be required for this position.
Ability to do physical labor and set up/breakdown, loading/unloading of equipment. Ability to manage and troubleshoot issues. Ability to be a problem solver and provide exceptional customer service.
Clean driving record.

Immunization Requirements
Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees, Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption.
