Oversees recruiting, talent evaluation, the transfer portal, player retention, and building the roster.
Acts a a vital connection between the coaching staff, athletic and university departments infiltering information
Manages logistics, support staff, travel, and ensures the program aligns with university and NCAA rules, often handing day-to-day operations.
Focuses on the business, structure, and personnel aspects of building and running the program
Enhance an organization that executes the business of Division I athletics while also being a committed partner with the academic community.
Implement plans, policies, procedures, and programs that are in compliance with the University of Louisiana System, university, conference, NCAA rules and regulations, applicable state and federal laws, and which promote the mission of the Department, as well as the University’s high standard of academic excellence and the general welfare of student-athletes.
Help ensure an environment that is committed to the best interest of student-athletes consistent with their educational, ethical, social, and physical development.
Foster a commitment to diversity and inclusiveness throughout all levels of the organization.
Represent intercollegiate athletics at ULM as needed.
Understand and communicate the value of athletics to the overall mission and strategic plan of the University to both internal and external constituencies.
Additional duties as assigned by Director of Athletics or Head Football Coach.
