This is a 10-month, 2-year position in the athletic department at Saint Leo University. This individual will assist the Director of Athletic Operations & Events and will provide an opportunity to develop critical thinking skills through direct involvement in the oversight of operations and events.
Job Description
Duties and Tasks:
Assist in all aspects of game day ticketing, concessions, and merchandise
Assist with the hiring, training, scheduling, and managing student employees within ticket & concessions operations
Serve in open positions on game days as necessary
Coordinate with various groups attending home contests including community engagement groups, will-call, Saint Leo faculty, staff, and students, student-athlete and coach pass lists, and visiting team fans
Perform audit of ticket sales and complimentary tickets at conclusion of the event
Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and safety of concession stands
Prepare hot foods for home events
Assist with the coordination of athletic department special events, Saint Leo owned events, and third-party events
Work closely with various departments on projects and event preparation for incoming groups, including but not limited to residence life, catering, housekeeping, facilities, campus safety, and information technology

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college/university
Acceptance into a graduate program at Saint Leo University
Become ServSafe certified within 30 days of employment
Skills
Leadership skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others
Highly organized and attention to details
Valid driver’s license
Abilities:
To be certified to drive university vehicles and assist with the functions of the athletic department motor pool including vans and golf carts
Must be willing to work evenings and weekends
Maintain compliance with NCAA, SSC Conference, institutional, and departmental policies and procedures
Ability to work in various weather conditions
Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and lift up to 50 pounds
