Job Description:

Coppin State University, an NCAA Division I institution, is seeking an Athletics & Compliance graduate assistant. This position will monitor the academic process of student-athletes. Duties also include tutorial support, grade checks, monitoring progress towards degree and eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor academic progress of student-athletes
• Monitor study hall areas
• Assist with the review and submission of academic data for NCAA and Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference
• Provide timely and accurate reports on the academic status of student-athletes to the Assistant Athletic Director for Academics and Compliance

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Minimum one (1) year of relevant experience with student services
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• Work collaboratively and effectively with other staff, student-athletes, coaches, and administrators
• Ability to work some nights and/or weekends.
