This position is responsible for supporting the management of the Athletics program of the University.
Union University is a private, coeducational liberal arts-based university offering bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. The campus is located in Jackson, Tenn. (80 miles northeast of Memphis) with additional campuses in Germantown, Hendersonville, and Memphis, Tenn. Union University currently enrolls about 3,200 undergraduate and graduate students from 48 states and 15 countries. This position is a ten-month (August-May) appointment and provides a competitive compensation package that includes 18 credit hours tuition waiver for graduate degree classes and a stipend (over 10 months) provided by the university. Duties include: Provide supervision for cash intake, reconciliation, and general management related to sporting event ticket sales and concessions. Recruit and hire student workers. Supervise the student workers, including managing their schedules and time cards. Prepare game promotion material for game day events, including season ticket sales. ** Union University is committed to strict compliance with any and all rules and regulations of the NCAA and the Gulf South Conference. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree is required. Acceptance into a post-bachelor’s academic program at the University, as well as full-time course registration into the same program of study is also required.
