Responsibilities:
Leadership
:
Educating teams on proper team environments, conflict management, and managing expectations
Oversee Maryville Esports Academy
In-Depth knowledge of the Player Agreement and responsibilities of the players and teams in Academy
Weekly meetings with the Student Lead and Team leads
Oversee Maryville Gaming Club
In-Depth knowledge of each of the roles for the club board
Ensuring eight events are run per semester
Evaluate each stage of the event process - (Before, During, After)
Mentorship of student leads
Actively monitor students fulfilling their duties
Organization and Planning:
Keeping Notion and Calendars up to date
Team Rosters
Tournament Schedules
Taking Notes
Meetings with Teams
Communication and Conflict Resolution:
Managing conflicts at events, meetings, etc. You may need to step in to resolve disputes between parties.
COMPENSATION:
Stipend for the academic year: $4000
Tuition award for the academic year: 12 credits/$9288
The award is based on 20 hours per week for 15 weeks each semester. It is expected that students earn their credit hours in the fall and spring semesters by being enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours each semester. Credits must be earned by May 31 each year. Tuition waiver does not cover fees, private music lessons, books, or OneCard charges. Students will receive ½ of their annual stipend during the Fall semester and ½ of their annual stipend during the Spring semester. Each semester, the stipend will be divided into 8 payments. Fall stipends are paid on or about September 15-December 31. Spring stipends are paid on or about January 31-May 15

Must be accepted and enrolled in the MBA master’s degree program at Maryville University
