Minot State University is seeking candidates for a position of Graduate Assistant for Cross Country and Track & Field. Minot State University is a proud member of NCAA DII and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. Position includes stipend and tuition assistance. The position will have assignments based on their skill set.

Offices hours during the week required. Duties as assigned. 

Graduate assistantships provide students a learning opportunity working alongside athletic department supervisor in a variety of experiences required in their career field. Graduate assistants are assigned to a supervisor and have specific job responsibilities delegated prior to the beginning of the experience. The selected experience should fit the GA’s background and interests and contribute to the needs of the department. Foremost, the assistantship should be a learning experience that contributes to the student’s growth as a professional in or outside of higher education.

Minimum Requirements

The successful candidate must be accepted into the Minot State University Graduate School and pass a background check. Bachelor’s Degree required.
