St. Lawrence University is currently seeking applications for a Graduate Assistant Coach for Men’s & Women’s Nordic Ski. This is a 9-month position (August 2026 – May 2027) targeted toward graduate students seeking a master’s degree. Remuneration includes a competitive coaching stipend, student health insurance, and eligibility for tuition remission (6 graduate classes per year in the University’s graduate program). St Lawrence offers a Master of Arts in Leadership.

Duties/Responsibilities

Responsibilities include providing instruction and  assisting with the day-to-day operation of the program including but not limited to athlete development, social media, recruiting, equipment management, travel, technique feedback, and other administrative duties. 

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required
• Strong oral and written communication skills 
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet the requirements to drive University vehicles required.
• Must apply and be accepted into the graduate program at St. Lawrence University.

Preferred Qualifications

Collegiate playing and/or coaching experience preferred.

Salary

$888 biweekly
