Description
This position reports to the director of eSports and is a key member of the Pioneer eSports coaching staff. The assistant will be involved with the daily administration of the collegiate eSports programs. The assistant will also aid in handling daily communication and interaction with students, making it a priority to grow and develop them academically, socially, and athletically. eSports activities will include communications with eSport club programs to develop awareness, evaluation of talent, filling the roster to the required number, coaching, inviting recruits for visits and working with Admissions, Financial Aid and many other departments throughout campus. The assistant will be responsible for recruiting a set number of kids for the team annually, while serving as a face of the program in relation to Glenville State University (GSU) as a whole. The assistant will support the mission and values of GSU and serve as a mentor to student-athletes (players).

Typical Qualifications
Knowledge in games and programs such as Call of Duty, Rocket League, R6, and Fortnite are preferred.
Basic Position Benefits
University Housing in Pickens Hall.
$4,000 annual living stipend ($2,000 per semester).
$1,000 campus meal voucher through Aramark ($500 per semester).
Annual stipend for two graduate courses (one call per semester – valued at $1,434 per semester and $2,868 per year)
The workload for these benefits will require 20-hours per week through their immediate supervisor.
