Job Description:
Berry College invites applications and nominations for a graduate assistant football coach.
Reporting to the Head of Football, the successful candidate will assist the head coach with organizing, supervising, and administering an NCAA Division III intercollegiate football program. The candidate will also demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to a liberal arts education, Division III athletics, and an appreciation for and commitment to all NCAA, Southern Athletic Association (SAA), and institutional rules and regulations.
The candidate should also possess good communication skills, strong leadership and mentoring abilities, and the ability to create a disciplined and caring culture. Other duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to, recruiting academically and athletically qualified student-athletes, practice and game preparation/management, compliance, equipment management, and a commitment to student-athletes academic progress and degree completion.
This position includes a $9,000 stipend over 10 months, plus graduate school.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree and admission into the Masters of Business Administration program at Berry are required.
Previous experience playing at the collegiate level is preferred.
