Position Summary
The Graduate Assistant for Athletic Business Operations will assist with the day-to-day business operations of the Athletic Department. The position will report to the Athletic Business Manager.
Essential Functions
Assist with preparing and processing all financial paperwork, including invoices, check requests, reimbursements, and purchase requisitions.
Assist with collecting and auditing monthly purchasing card documentation and reconciling to bank statements.
Assist in reviewing and clearing team travel advances and expense reports.
Assist with the preparation of monthly budget reports.
Assist with summer camps, including registration, financial reports, deposits, and assisting with walk-up registrations.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
| Knowledge Skills and Abilities |
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong customer service orientation towards Athletics staff, coaches, campers, and parents.

| Required Education |
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or Sports Management.
|
| Required Work Experience |
At least one (1) year of experience in a professional office setting.
|
| Preferred Qualifications |
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Prior internships or work experience in Intercollegiate Athletics.
- Interest in the accounting/financial realm of Intercollegiate Athletics strongly preferred.
