Position Description
Valley City State University is searching for a Graduate Assistant for Baseball. This position will assist the head coach with the following duties: scheduling competitions and planning practices; recruiting, coaching, mentoring, and retaining student athletes; monitoring annual budgets; arranging team and recruiting travel; fundraising and other departmental duties; fostering strong alumni relations and meeting all institutional, and NAIA rules and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree and 2 years of coaching experience. 

Preferred Qualifications
Acceptance into the VCSU Graduate Program, a demonstrated ability to be academically and athletically successful student-athletes; excellent communication skills; strong organizational and leadership skills, and a commitment and history of integrating the student athlete into the campus community of a small college.

Compensation
$3000 per semester, tuition waiver, free housing and a meal stipend.
