The Graduate Assistant for Men’s Soccer is responsible for the implementation of a competitive men’s soccer program. The Graduate Assistant for Men’s Soccer will be required to uphold compliance with all Institutional policies. Will report directly to the Head Men’s Soccer Coach.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Apply Now· Recruit student-athletes according to Admissions procedures.
· Responsible for the supervision of some team practices, contests, and off-season programs.
· Create content for all social media outlets including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
· Prepares game practices, travel plans, and training sessions.
· Ensure all student-athletes succeed academically, athletically, and leaderly.
· Will organize and plan two (2) ID Team Camps and two (2) Residential Team Camps.
· Participate in community activities to promote the student-athletes, team, and department.
· Adhere to rules set forth by the Institution.
· Develop and implement fundraising activities and strategies to enhance and grow revenue for the program and the athletic department.
· Perform other related duties and tasks as appropriately assigned by the Head Men’s Soccer Coach.
Other Duties & Responsibilities:
· Demonstrated abilities to work effectively in a small college setting and ability to balance student-athlete needs within a student development perspective.
· Will supervise student-athletes.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Suites.
· AED/CPR/First Aid certification.
· Valid Driver’s License/State ID.
