Department: Athletics Schedule: Temp, PT, 29hrs/wk

Supervisor: Head Coach

FLSA Classification : Non-exempt

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing specifically designated areas of the administrative operations of the women’s basketball program. Oversees strength and condition program by evaluating the needs of student-athletes and determining and developing individual programs, and formulates, implements, and evaluates operations of the program. Provides technical expertise in the fundamentals of the sport, instructs student-athletes in the basics as well as advanced strategies, and assists the Head Coach in management of the team through recruiting, fund-raising, and promotional activities.

  • Manages specific areas of the daily administrative operations of the women’s basketball team as assigned by the head coach. Protects the integrity of the sport and the reputation of the intercollegiate athletics programs of the university by complying with National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) rules and regulations as well as applicable conference rules and university policies regarding recruiting activities, student-athlete eligibility determination, scholarships and financial aid programs, scheduled practice sessions, and related covered activities.
