Position Overview:
This position will assist the men’s basketball staff in all aspects of a Division I program. This includes, but is not limited to, recruitment and retention of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes; develop strong relationships with student-athletes, faculty, and staff.
Responsibilities Include:
This position coach develops strong rapport with student-athletes as he or she counsels team members in academic, disciplinary and personal matters when appropriate.
Requirements/Qualifications/Skills:
This position is heavily involved in assisting the coaching staff with community involvement, donor interactions, student-athletes academic success, game preparation, and scouting. This time frame allows the graduate assistant adequate time to become acclimated with team dynamics, which is essential in any athletic position.
