Description: About King University Founded in 1867, King University is a comprehensive Christian university located in Bristol, Tennessee. King is dedicated to providing students with a rich and rigorous academic experience that integrates faith, learning, and service in a close-knit, student-centered community. King University is accepting applications for the position of Graduate Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Men’s Soccer Coach with all aspects of the soccer program.
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree is required. Candidates should possess a thorough knowledge of soccer, a sophisticated understanding of coaching and training strategies, and a demonstrated ability to enhance student athlete development. Admission into an approved graduate program at King University.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a student athlete at the collegiate level. Demonstrated ability and success in identifying and recruiting student athletes at a private, residential institution.
Responsibilities: Supervise all activities related to the student athletes; provide professional mentoring to student-athletes; Recruit student/athletes that meet King University Admission guidelines to achieve roster goals and field a competitive team; Provide academic, personal, and professional mentoring to student-athletes; Comply with all NCAA rules and regulations.
Language: Proficiency in written and spoken English required
