NUMBER OF HOURS PER WEEK ANTICIPATED: 0-20 hours, available August-May. Early afternoon and evening hours are expected.

A Graduate Assistant may not exceed 20 hours per week in their GA position. A GA may work concurrent employment off-campus with prior permission from the supervisor providing the assistantship, with the primary consideration being that the additional hours do not compromise the student’s academic progress or their assistantship responsibilities. GAs are not permitted to work additional assignments; beyond their GA position, at SJC.
REQUIRED TRAINING (upon selection for GA position): Bloodborne Pathogen, Hazard Communication, Video Display Terminal
