JOB SUMMARY

Southern Nazarene University is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a graduate assistant coach for the SNU Strength & Conditioning Program. The University is a member of the NCAA DII Great American Conference. The successful candidate will have a mature, growing relationship with Christ and collegiate coaching/playing experience. Applicants will work with all NCAA teams as well as varsity teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions:

• Assist the Head Coach in providing leadership for the SNU Strength & Conditioning Programs.Â
• Play an integral role in the day-to-day administrative responsibilities, daily team strength & conditioning training, strength & conditioning development of players, and nutritional guidance.
• This position must work within SNU, NCAA DII, and varsity sports organizations guidelines to provide student-athletes with an exceptional collegiate experience while competing for championships.

Supervision Received:

Receives supervision and work assignments from the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach, although other staff members in the unit may provide work direction.

Supervision Exercised:

May be responsible for the coordination of work assignments for student employees.
