than ever before.
Point University, an upcoming member of the Southern States NAIA Conference
provides an opportunity to work in a NAIA Women’s Basketball program coming off a
Conference Championship. This graduate assistant will work with our coaching staff in
all aspects of running a top-tier NAIA program. Primary responsibility is to support the
head women’s basketball coach, assistant coach, in daily women’s basketball duties.
Candidates should possess an enthusiasm for working with student-athletes, a strong
basketball background, excellent oral, written communication skills, a solid work ethic
to compete for conference championships. `This candidate must have strong computer
skills and organizational skills. Proficient in video and film is a plus.
Responsibilities
• The candidate will be responsible for contributing to various aspects of the
program, including recruiting, coaching, video and equipment duties, and other
task and duties assigned by the head coach
• Individual skill development with players
• Court Preparation
• Practice Preparation
• Assisting with strength and conditioning activities
• Video analysis
• Assist with team travel
• Running camps and clinics
• Helping to ensure team compliance with all NAIA and institutional rules and
regulations
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution
Preferred requirements:
• Organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and social media
• Knowledge with Photo Shop and creating graphics.
• Great organization skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient with film and video
